Beta. The Gumroad connector is built and tested against Gumroad's documented notifications. It has not yet run against a live Gumroad account in production.

Connect Gumroad so sales and membership charges join your CashSDK revenue, refunds come back out, and one-off products can unlock access.
Gumroad lets creators sell digital products, memberships, and downloads to an audience they already own. It is the fastest way to put a paid offer in front of followers without building checkout yourself. Connect it to CashSDK and every sale, membership charges included, lands in your revenue beside your in-app purchases.
Gumroad's notifications carry no billing period, so a membership never grants CashSDK access by itself. An ended or failed membership is recorded as ended. A one-off product can unlock access, as described below.

Connect Gumroad from your app's Marketplace page with an access token.

Each Gumroad product ID matches a CashSDK product.

Every sale becomes revenue. A refund or dispute takes the sale back out.

Create an access token
In Gumroad, go to Settings → Advanced → Applications and create an application to generate an access token. Copy it.

Add it to CashSDK
In the dashboard, open your app's Marketplace page, choose Gumroad and select Connect. Pick Production for real sales and paste the token. It is stored encrypted at rest. Gumroad does not sign its notifications, so there is no signing secret.

Point Ping at CashSDK
Copy the connection's webhook URL from the Connected list and set it as the Ping URL in Gumroad under Settings → Advanced → Ping. Keep the URL private: it is the only thing that authenticates Gumroad's notifications.

Send refunds and endings too
Ping reports sales only. To also send refunds, disputes and ended memberships,
subscribe the same URL to the refund, dispute and subscription_ended
resources with Gumroad's resource subscriptions API
(PUT /v2/resource_subscriptions).

Activate
Back in CashSDK, select Activate on the connection.
Map your catalog#
Payments for products your app does not sell are skipped, so for each Gumroad
product create a product in CashSDK whose identifier is
the Gumroad product ID and attach the entitlement it
unlocks. To point a Gumroad product at an existing product instead, map it with
map_marketplace_catalog (prompt setup).
- A one-off sale of a non-consumable product unlocks it for good.
- A membership charge is recorded as revenue only. It does not grant access.
- A refund or dispute takes the whole sale back out of your revenue and ends the access that sale gave.
Who gets access#
Gumroad identifies buyers by email. A one-off sale unlocks the product for the app
user whose ID is the buyer's email address, or for the user you link that email to
with the link_marketplace_user tool on the MCP server.

Test a purchase
Buy a low-priced or free product and confirm the sale appears under Transactions. Gumroad's test notifications are recorded as Sandbox.

Confirm real sales arrive on the Production connection. Your CashSDK publishable key does not change.
